Shikhar Dhawan is an Indian international cricketer. Shikhar is a left-handed opening batsman. He plays occasional right-arm off break bowler. Shikhar plays for Delhi in domestic cricket and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. He played for the Indian Under-17 and Under-19 teams before making his first-class debut for Delhi in November 2004. He was the player of the tournament. With 505 runs, Shikhar is a leading run-scorer in the Year 2004 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
A record for most runs in a single Under-19 World Cup that still stands. In 2016, he became the fastest Indian and one of the three fastest batsmen in the world to reach 3000 ODI runs. He was the player of the match in the final of the 2016 Asia Cup which India won. He was the fourth highest run-getter of the 2016 Indian Premier League which Hyderabad won.

Dhawan holds the record of scoring the most runs in a single Under-19 World Cup. He scored 505 runs in 2004 U-19 World Cup. He was also given the player of the tournament award during this competition.
